48x48. Wrapping up final work the next two weeks for submission. This painting has two finished paintings under it. Although I loved them, I had moved on. The extreme shine is from the acrylic pour I did in order to soften it up so paint over the previous painting, I can fix that with a varnish blend. My inspiration is from Stephen Hawking’s book of essays “Black Holes And Baby Universes”. I didn’t end of becoming an astrophysicist, so I’ll paint and write about it. Astronomy will remain my first passion. This piece is heavy, and since it has taken me years.
