Started a 48”x36” angel based on a cemetery angel located in Italy. When I begin a figurative painting I always start with the eyes. It’s also another depiction of the painting that is mentioned in my book JUMPER.
Over the past year I’ve been studying sculpture to enhance my knowledge in painting and drawing. Cemetery sculptures have hypnotized me. To my knowledge America doesn’t have an extensive amount of cemetery sculpture art, however, I have read that New Orleans does.
