Creating star clusters, takes a different approach than sketching. I splatter thinned out titanium white paint (soft body and add in some larger dots with thick body. Let dry, then using 2/3 gel medium mix a dab of Phalo blue until it’s HIGHLY transparant. You want to see the star. Then, take a Uber fine tip brush, I use the fine line ones for face detail, and circle it around each star, use your finger to drag it outward.
