When I started writing ๐๐๐๐๐๐, I had absolutely no intention on inputting in a love story. None. I wanted to steer away from romance and stick with a steady sci-fi thriller. By the first chapter, something happened, a click I never thought would come, and I knew that I owed it to the story to tell its truth. I let the story breath on its own, and it took ahold of me and hasnโt let go. I also never intended on making it a series. In a few days the first book comes out, and in it it says that itโs book one of a three part series. There will be more than three. Perhaps five. I have started writing book two ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, and have been pouring myself into research as it will be more extensive and most likely longer. Our oldest TAra is a sailor. Dean and I had the best day in Chicago with our sailor. She had tons of food, coffee-all the things she couldnโt have did ten weeks. Now off to train for Air Rescue for the next year. It was incredibly hard watching her walk away from us tonight. Navy Pier with Mom and Dad. I was 24 when I had Tara, Dean was 23. We have 4 girls now Tara 21, Reese 18, Kameryn 16 (almost 17), and Drew 14. The boot camp journey was more difficult on our end then I was expecting. I didnโt expect the emotions that we experienced but Dean and I did it together, and have grown even more close - if that were possible.

Art therapy
I threw an art tantrum today. It was desperately needed. I wear a mask because of the fumes-I know I should wear one with more protection. My soul is not reacting well to the literary agent query process, and Iโm aware that most manuscripts have received rejection after rejection. Iโve already received plenty of those in the art world, so Iโm going to step back for a bit. I threw some paint today-it felt good.
