The art fair is known, and in two months (on my anniversary too). A question that I get asked often is do I use live models or specific people. I have countless reference photos and I do this rhing where I arrange a oerson in my head—kinda like I make a new human being. Loads of shaping/contouring to go, and detail work on the universe she is carrying at the end of the chain wrapped around her wrist. When I hear “That’s inappropriate”, to put it bluntly—it’s freaking art people. The human form moves and changes form by the minute, and trying to capture it is beautiful, and challenging. Churches around the world have ancient nude paintings, sculptures.
