The art fair is known, and in two months (on my anniversary too). A question that I get asked often is do I use live models or specific people. I have countless reference photos and I do this rhing where I arrange a oerson in my head—kinda like I make a new human being. Loads of shaping/contouring to go, and detail work on the universe she is carrying at the end of the chain wrapped around her wrist. When I hear “That’s inappropriate”, to put it bluntly—it’s freaking art people. The human form moves and changes form by the minute, and trying to capture it is beautiful, and challenging.
