Cleaning up lines. If there is any advice I can give to the up and coming generation of artists it is to take your art personal, trust your instincts; and for freak sake — shut out what the world is telling you to do with your work. If you want to make a difference, you have to be exactly that—different. I have kept my outside looking pretty normal, because in the inside I am pretty damn divergent. It’s fun for me to be standing among the crowd at a gallery and quietly listening to people discussing my work. On many occasion, patrons are surprised that I am the artist. Again….it’s entertaining to kick things up. So, get out there, and be different. Oh, and don’t forget to mediate daily! Since I can remember I’ve been nuts about our universe. I’ve been studying it for fun my entire life. Last night we brought out our Celestron to check out Jupiter & Saturn. Jupiter will remain close until December. 2nd image I had to lighten, never use a flash when using a telescope or look at a bright phone. 2nd pic is my daughter Kam.
We were able to see Jupiter’s moons, and stripes, and Saturn’s rings and pastel color was brilliant. I messed around and spied the sky randomly while my husband picked up youngest up from a football game.
