My daughter Reese And I will be exhibiting one art piece each in The Women In Arts in the online show at Las Laguna Art Gallery. Reese’s a self portrait acrylic on canvas, mine is part of my Angel series - charcoal/pastel matted/framed .

She and I showed last year at gallery in Silverlake, along with my mom. I’m a proud mama of all four of my girls and their unique gifts.

Saturday multitasking

Wrote a little, submitted work for my daughter and myself, now sketching. I showed my second born how to compile an artist statement, create a profile on CAFE arts, and photograph art. She is reluctant to let go of her work, but I told her to hold on to her favorites, the ones she can’t bare selling, and the others she can always make more.

I took this one, which was choppy, and had too blunt of line work and re worked it. A new artist asked me the other day what they can do to self teach. Study other artists!
