I've had an extremely busy past few months. Work and personal life has swarmed me. I am so thankful for everything the Lord has blessed me with. I want to wish everyone a peaceful and joyful holiday season. Please remember those less fortunate and spread the spirit of giving without receiving. Blessed beyond measure,

Starting October 5th I will be guesting in at Avantgarden Gallery in Santa Ana, Ca.
Art reception kicks off with the Santa Ana Art Walk Saturday night the 5th, 7-10pm.
This will be at the Open Group Show at Gallery Expo, Long Beach for October. I added more branch work around the entire perimeter.
I brought out the tree more. A whole lot more. Illuminated it.
When you're not sure what color to go with start with black & white. Hints and splashes of color can lend an edgy yet classic touch.
It's not to late in the game, right? I just had yet another birthday, and part of a bucket list of getting over fears, I am learning to surf. I suck so far, but every time I'm getting better. My oldest daughter was shredding it, along side her dad. As anyone who has followed my art career, you've seen my surfboard/snowboard art. If you're interested in me creating a one of a kind art piece on your board (yes, it's fine to ride after resin coat-which I provide) hit me up and I'll give you a quote. My lovely husband surprised me with the Becker long board below, so I'm off to try it out.

A little out of focus, but you get the idea
Early stage of a client's snowboard. I plan to add plenty of more elements.
The street comes alive for the monthly Art Walk. Great vibe, food, art, music and people array Atlantic Blvd. Kid friendly. Four of my works, among many incredibly talented artists are on exhibit at Gallery Expo across from EJ Malloys (great Pub!). If you happen to pop by I will be there for as long as my little Blonde Army can go (my four daughters+husband). Please say "hi".

These four pieces will be for in the Open themed group show at Gallery Expo on Atlantic Blvd. For the month of August. First Friday's Art Walk is August 3rd.
I was never satisfied with this painting. I decided to highlight the texture of the entire tree. The tree's texture was created using pallet knife and a mixture of acrylic stucco medium, acrylic glaze, and acrylic paint. I still have more detailing. My good camera took a dive so this was taken with my iPhone. Needless to say it's a little out of focus. Anyone know of any good camera deals?
Before resin coat. That will bring out the colors a bit more. Japanese inspired piece. The Miyazaki films are a great influence in my illustrations. I've also been studying Japanese modern art, tattoo, and film.
